On behalf of Co-Chairs Tina-Maria Birch and Patsy Tarr, our Honorary Chairs, Jack Larsen, LHR Board of Trustees and staff, I would like to personally thank you for your energy and vibrant sound at our 2007 Summer Gala at LongHouse Reserve.  The music was great and everyone enjoyed the various performances throughout the evening.  The event was attended by a record number of people and the money raised will help us ensure quality programs to the growing number of people who visit LongHouse Reserve each year.

The Annie Morgan Band is absolutely amazing!!  All of our guests agreed that you were the best band they had ever seen at a wedding.  You really went out of your way to make our day special, even letting me sing with you, and we are eternally grateful.  Now we just need another good excuse to throw a party so we can you have you play again!!  Not only did you do an incredible job, you were a pleasure to work with.  Thanks again for everything, our wedding was a huge success, in large part because of you.

Annie does what only the very best singers can do.  She gives those who come to listen something of herself.  She does this openly, honestly and without artifice.  There’s no holding back, she’s exciting to listen and exciting to watch.  The music comes at us like heat lightning, like primitive dancing, like Fourth of July Fireworks.  The electricity she generates snaps, crackles and the place rocks!

Annie Morgan has it all…she shifts octaves like a racecar driver goes through gears.  She can handle sophisticated jazz phrasings, the funkiest R&B riffs, and has an energetic stage presence.  When she burst into the opening verse of “Respect”, the effect on the crowd was electric!
